About Taste of Edmonton

When and where is Taste of Edmonton?

Taste of Edmonton will be held at Sir Winston Churchill Square from July 18 – July 27, 2024 (11:00 AM – 10:00 PM) and on July 28, 2024 (11:00 AM – 9:00 PM)

When will tickets go on sale for the 2024 festival?

Tickets for this year's festival will go on sale June 1, 2024. Upon conclusion of the presale, tickets can be purchased onsite at any of the ticket booths.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets for Taste of Edmonton can be purchased online, at our head office located at 11737-108 Avenue, select North Central Co-Op Grocery and Gas locations and Edmonton Arts Council Shops & Services from June 1 to July 17, 2024.

Starting on July 18, 2024, tickets can be purchased onsite at Taste of Edmonton at any of our ticket booths.

How much are tickets?

The general festival and concerts are FREE to attend.

If you'd like to sample some of Edmonton’s best dishes and beverages, presale ticket prices are available from June 1, 2024 to July 17, 2024, are $59.50 for a sheet of 40.

Upon conclusion of presale pricing, you may purchase a sheet of 40 at the festival for $69.50.

During the festival, you also have the option of purchasing 20 tickets for $36.00, 10 tickets for $18.50, 5 tickets for $9.50 or a single ticket for $2.00.

Taste of Edmonton food tickets have not increased in price since 2019!

How many tickets do I need to purchase?

Menu items from our restaurant partners are between 2 to 5 tickets, and alcoholic beverages are between 5 to 8 tickets. We recommend taking a peek at our menu and purchase your tickets accordingly!

If you run out of tickets and would like to purchase more, you may do so at any of our ticket booths onsite during the festival.

If I have extra tickets, what can I do with them?

If you have any leftover Taste tickets, you can donate them at the 630 CHED Information Centre, our Canada Dry Beverage Centre locations or at any gate.

For 2024, money raised through donated tickets will support the Edmonton Food Bank.

Where can I purchase 50/50 tickets?

50/50 tickets will go on sale on July 16, 2024. They can be purchased through our website or onsite, just find one of our wonderful 50/50 volunteers!

I have dietary restrictions, how do I know what I can eat?

Information regarding Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Friendly, Dairy Free and Nut Containing dishes will be listed beside each menu item.

Attending Taste of Edmonton

Are there accessible washrooms onsite?

Yes! There will be accessible washrooms at Taste of Edmonton. You'll find them by entrances #2 and #4. If you have any other questions about accessibility at Taste of Edmonton, please don't hesitate to email us at office@eventsedmonton.ca.

Do I need to book a time/date to attend the festival?

Not at all! You can come down and enjoy the festival any time. You're welcome to use your tickets on any day during the festival or on multiple days!

Is there parking at the festival?

As Taste of Edmonton takes place at Sir Winston Churchill Square, there are some paid parking options available. You can view these spots here.

We recommend getting to the festival via public transit such as the bus or LRT. Please visit our "Getting to Taste of Edmonton" page for more information on which lines to take.

If it's raining will the festival still be on?

Yes! Unless weather advisories indicate otherwise, Taste of Edmonton will run rain or shine.

Am I able to bring my dog to the festival?

Dogs are permitted onsite, however are not allowed in food preparation areas. All dogs must be leashed and the owner is responsible for cleaning up after them.

Please be respectful to any service dogs you may encounter at the festival.

Am I able to smoke at the festival?

Smoking is prohibited on festival grounds. This includes tobacco, marijuana, and vaporizers.

Are skateboards or rollerblades allowed at the festival?

No wheeled equipment including bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, or scooters are permitted on the festival grounds.

Will there be alcohol available at Taste of Edmonton?

Yes, The Canadian Brewhouse Lounge is back serving your favourite drinks this year! You are free to carry your drinks around the festival with you, however, outside beverages are not permitted inside the festival grounds.

Are photographs being taken at the festival?

Photographs and videos will be taken at this event for use on the Events Edmonton and Taste of Edmonton websites, social media, marketing materials, and for other promotional uses. By entering this event, you consent to the photographing, recording and the use of your image and likeness. So share how much fun you’re having and smile!
